Our History

Located in the heart of Ancaster at the eastern end of Village Green Park, the Ancaster Municipal Lawn Bowling Club has been serving the local community for over 80 years.  Our address is 291 Lodor Street where we enjoy easy transit access and convenient free parking close to the clubhouse.  Our facilities offer summer and winter activities for people of all ages.

Lawn bowling is a sport that, once attempted, appeals to a wide range of people.  It is a fun and social recreational activity that is usually played outdoors.  Our Winter Indoor Short Mat Bowling program allows AMLBC members to play indoors and year-round.  Explore our site for information about our bowling calendar, membership, and more.

Our summer outdoor bowling season runs from May through September and winter indoor short mat bowling runs from October through April.
